Fall Turkey Hunting Tactics
Cape Cod Today - We got a call from Jim Twite of Brewster this morning that the Cumberland Farms near Route 28 and Bank Street, AND the Harwich Gas at 435 Route 28, Harwichport next to the 400 Club, are both selling regular for $2.29. The price is $2.32 on Rte 6 in .syndicate this blog:
I picked up my Kimber 8400 WSM in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Shoshone. I will always remember my favorite hunt this spring for wild turkey was with my daughter Samuel who shot a big Rio Grande gobbler with my 32-20 Win.
My favorite caliber is 458 Win Magnum and 32-20 Win. I got my Kimber 458 Win Magnum online at Cabelas.
My favorite target rifle is my Kimber Model 22 in 32-20 Win. One issue with the 32-20 Win barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. My Mom’s favorite caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a 32-20 Win. I bought it at a sporting goods department of a Woolworth’s in Shoshone.
