His favorite rifle is the 30-30 I picked up online at the NRA store. My dad said his favorite caliber is the 30-30 he got at a NWTF banquet last season. My favorite hunt this spring for wild turkey was with my daughter Zada who shot a big Rio Grande gobbler with my 30-30.

My mom’s favorite rifle is my new Marlin 1894 with the checkered maple chambered in 6 mm BR and 30-30. Jordan got his Marlin last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Strasburg. One drawback about this weapon is that it takes a little time before it actually fires a 30-30 round.

I got my Marlin 1894 in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Strasburg. I really like a handy checkered maple stocked Marlin 1894 for hunting under 200 yards.
