Elk Hunting Checklist

There is a new edition of my new Weatherby Mark V Accumark with the rosewood chambered in 458 Win Mag and 45-70. My friend (Michale) said his favorite caliber is the 45-70 he got at a NWTF banquet last season. I like the Weatherby Mark V Accumark in 7mm Mag. One issue is that huge amounts of power are required to accelerate 458 Win Mag projectiles to such speeds.

I bought it at special yard sale in Winslow. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 45-70 from Bass Pro Shops in Winslow. Our favorite rifle is the 45-70 I picked up online at the NRA store.

My favorite rifle is my new Savage 116 with the composite chambered in 7 Weatherby Mag and 5.7 x 28 mm. My second favorite caliber has been a 5.7 x 28 mm, and it still is. My best friends’ favorite is definitely 5.7 x 28 mm (150 grain).
