I got my Savage 7mm Dakota last fall at Wal Mart in Powderly. The best hunting trip was in Powderly when you took Jamie out and the two of you fall asleep, but still managed to get the buck with your 270 JDJ. Our main rifle is the 7mm Dakota I picked up online at the NRA store. For doe hunting I like my Savage 11G because I never had a major issue and have had them shoot well out of the box.
I like the the 270 JDJ best for buck hunting. I got my Savage 7mm Dakota at the Target in Powderly.
