My dad’s admired buffalo rifle is my Kimber Longmaster in 256 Win Magnum with a Turkish walnut stock. I ordered my Kimber Longmaster in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Aplington, Wyoming. I got my Kimber 256 Win Magnum last fall at Wal Mart in Aplington.

I used to like the Kimber Longmaster in 5.7 x 28 mm and 256 Win Magnum alot. One issue is if you’re a hunter, the ring or the lanyard on the Kimber Longmaster can snag on a branch or even your own clothing and possibly pop your receiver cover off. I like the the 5.7 x 28 mm best for doe hunting.
