My friends and I like the 7mm-06 best for deer hunting. I got my Ruger 308 Win. at the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Los Gatos. For deer hunting I like the Burris 2.75 Scope better on my Ruger Model 3, and I’d be willing to bet that it’s a bit more robust than the Leupold.
